# Blank install.php, confusing

 * I have a new installation of wordpress at [http://www.base0.net/newblog](http://www.base0.net/newblog)
   and the install.php comes up with a blank page. I have tried both Safari and 
   Firefox on MacOS and can’t get the install to give me anything else. I have logged
   into the database with the wordpress username and password I have placed in the
   wp-config.php file and it seems to be working fine.
    This problem seems similar
   to [http://wordpress.org/support/2/7122](http://wordpress.org/support/2/7122)
   but as I said viewing it with a different browser does not work.

 * Humm.. funny.
    wp-config.php also comes up with a blank page… What is funny is
   that the source of the page seems NOT to be generated by WP (no Xhtml but 4.0
   transitionnal instead, tags in bold, etc.). I would suggest to reinstall everything
