[Resolved] blank index page, ‘theme missing’ but folder is there

  • I moved WP from another server, so have had permission issues for a while. But then recently I could not modify my theme. And then I noticed that it said I had no plugins, when I do. And then my homepage went blank, and my themes page is giving me a PHP error:
ksort() expects parameter 1 to be array

So I upgraded to the newest version, but it has not fixed the problems. I’ve found other references to this error on this forum, but changing the permissions to 755 did not help. I’ve confirmed the ‘default’ theme is there. I’ve confirmed there are plugins in the correct director.

    Can anyone help? Thanks!

  • I gave up and completely deleted the wp-content folder. Re-uploading it fixed the issue. Would still like to know what the problem was, but.
