Blank cart page after removing an item

    Hi guys

    I’m having a problem on one of my customers website : when you remove an item from the cart, the cart becomes blank (but header and footer are still here). If you refresh the page everything is ok, the item has been removed. Changing item quantity is OK, this issue only occurs when removing items from cart.

    I tried disabling all plugins, switching to another theme, remove any additionnal CSS or Child Theme functions, and the problem remains.

    I also tried to disable Cloudflare and Apache Pagespeed module without luck.

    Can’t see anything in the developper console either, and turning on the debugging didn’t help me.

    Do you have any idea ? Many thanks for your help !

    Hi,

    i had the same issue. For me caching caused the trouble. I actually had an exception rule for cart an checkout in WPFC and Autooptimized so the issue didn’t come frome those plugins, but i lately tried out setting “define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);” in wp-config.php to see if that would further improve my performance. After deleting that rule, everything went fine again.

    So as a solution you might want to make sure it is’nt an caching issue and that that rule is’nt activated in wp-config.

    As @koki211 mentioned (thank you!) it looks like this definitely is a caching issue. If you have caching plugin, make sure that your Cart, Checkout, and My Account pages are NOT being cached.
