    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the last 2 ideas you had but both didn’t make a difference… and I can’t do the first two without logging in. I’m thinking maybe i should just reinstall wordpress completely?

Try switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

So if i just rename my current theme it automatically reverts to twentyten? I changed the current theme’s folder name but no better. I don’t understand why it’s displaying the favicon but nothing else.

Correct. You may need to try accessing wp-login.php once or twice to get this to kick in.

That doesn’t seem to be helping.. dang. Still just a blank page. Thanks for your help.
