Blank background

  • I installed wordpress and it looks great on the machine its installed on but when I pull up the page on computers on my network,no background just a white page with text and some lines. I almost forgot it has k2 plugin running on it. The background should be black and it should have a picture at the top of the page. Thanks vincer12

  • People can’t help much unless you post a link to the site you’re talking about. Check that the theme folder of the theme you’re using is a top-level folder in wp-content/themes, and that the main stylesheet is called style.css.

Check the values for “home” and “site_url” (see: http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/)

If they’re set to “localhost”, then only the machine you have WP installed on will see the site correctly.
