# Blank Admin Page

 * My website [http://www.simplyelope.com](http://www.simplyelope.com) admin page
   has been coming up blank all day. There are no errors or anything, just a blank
   white page.
 * I have logged out and logged back in; I’ve even tried downloading WordPress 4.0.1
   and I still get a blank white page.
 * My page still comes up and works with no problem, it’s just the admin page.
 * *Edit*
    I did update a new plugin, Jackpack, before it went white.

 * Using Mac Safari 8.0.2, I went to [http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin](http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin)
   which resolved to [http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.simplyelope.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1](http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.simplyelope.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1)
   and it gave me login page. Of course I cannot actually log in, but I got this
   far.
 * Can you please define the exact steps you are using to get to the issue. Also
   let us know what operating system, browser, and browser version you’re using.
   Oh, and before you try to reproduce your issue again, do be sure to fully flush
   your browser’s cache as well as try using a different browser.

 * Also, might I suggest, if you can, turning off all plugins as well as revert 
   back to the default WordPress theme. This may be a helpful link for you:

 * **NOTE:** Whatever the last thing you did, such as the mentioned updated JetPack
   plugin, would be most suspect. 🙂

 * The steps I take:
 * 1. Logged on via [http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin](http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin)
   login page
    2. Admin page comes up blank (no error) 3. Logs out via main site(
   www.simplyelope.com) admin toolbar 4. Logs back in via [http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin](http://www.simplyelope.com/wp-admin)
   login page 5. Still blank (no error)
 * I’m currently using Google Chrome, but I have also tried it with Internet Explorer
   and mobile internet. I got 404 Error with IE and a Server Error with the mobile
   internet.

 * I’ve tried deactivating my plugins and clearing my caches and I still can’t get
   in.

 * Did you manually rename the plugins folder on the server and if that doesn’t 
   work, rename your current theme folder?
 * That’s what you need to do as your site is still showing plugins and your theme.

 * Changing themes and deactivating plugins doesn’t delete content. Did you delete
   or change something else?
