# Black thumbnails

 * Today I noticed that thumbnails are no longer displayed in any of the sliders.
   There are just black rectangles ([https://prnt.sc/hV5k-aZTbupL](https://prnt.sc/hV5k-aZTbupL)).
 * Have you encountered this before? Do you have any solution?

 * WordPress 7.0 was just released, and this issue is caused by a bug introduced
   in the `wp_kses()` sanitization process:
    - [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65270](https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65270)
 * As a result, the slide thumbnails are not rendered correctly in the backend.
 * We’ve already made some changes in our latest build to avoid this issue, so once
   we release a new version, the slide thumbnails should show up again in the backend,
   too.
