  • HI! You mean like this..

    .main-navigation {
    margin-top: 500px;
    }
    try that css.
    here is a good place to study
    http://www.w3schools.com

    Hi Mr. Solution,

    thanks, that seems to move the menu 500px down.

    But I would like to have the black color behind the featured image to turn white or something, so you don’t see the black anymore. Like on this page:

    http://www.meubelmakerijlockefeer.nl/stoelen/

    D

    you mean like this..
    #masthead {
    background: url(“http://www.meubelmakerijlockefeer.nl/wp-content/uploads/schaven-meubelmaker-amsterdam.jpg”) no-repeat fixed center 0 #000000;
    }
    my English is bad.. SORRY.

    ..and my CSS knowledge is very bad.

    I went to customize > CSS and to the page with the featured image. I entered your code and changed the color to #ffffff (which should be white). Than the featured image disappears in the preview and it shows the default header image. I clicked on save anyway to see what happens, but nothing!

    try..
    #ffffff !important;

    Yes! Thanks a lot!

    I don’t know exaclty what did it, but I went to editor > custom-header.php, and changed the background color of the featured header image to #ffffff.

    It works.. 🙂

    resolved..
