  • I have a website on my dedicated server that is super fast, with one exception: I have 30 second load times when I access a post/page for updating and when I click on that post/page to update. BUT, only when from my geographic location (San Luis Obispo, CA). My business partner in Texas does not have the same problem. My webhost does not have the problem when they tried in another state.

    I’ve tried the following:

    Tried a different computer.
    Tried on three different browsers.
    Tried on Charter cable.
Tried through my iPhone’s Verizon network hotspot.
Tried at a local Starbuck (where they use either AT&T or Google for WiFi).
Tried with a different admin user account I created.

In addition, of course, I’ve tried turning off security plugins, pausing Cloudflare, etc.

I have two other sites on this dedicated server of mine. Neither of the other two have an issue. Interestingly, about a week ago when this started, two of my sites had this problem; now only this one site does.

Can it be some sort of weird route that the connection from my geographic location is taking to the server? But, if it is, why would it only affect one of my three sites that are all on the same server? Does any of that make any sense?

Anyone ever see something like this?
