  • Is anyone serving content via BitTorrent with WordPress?

I’ve got my prototype site setup with torrent enclosures in the feed, as well as a resident tracker encased in a page. Theoretically this means end users could subscribe to the feed and automatically download content (in my case – free music) but I’ve yet to find anyone actually doing this… I looked into some of the podcatchers that are available, and few of them seem to have any real BitTorrent support. Is there a definitive client or methodology for making use of RSS and torrents that I could recommend to my future visitors?

The notion of a subscription based free music service using WordPress has me intrigued…

  • Yeah check out http://getdemocracy.com

It would be awesome to have a Broadcast Machine plugin for WordPress:

    http://getdemocracy.com/broadcast/

especially for integrating with the file-decriptions, the rss feed, the torrent status, and having soem global torrent and files statistics like total amount of traffic being used, amount of completed downloads, amount of availabe megabytes.. I’d like to have that information in the header of my video-blog when I publish files using torrents.. http://videofrom.cn

That’s a pretty funkadelic theme you’re using, Xander. Suits the album covers perfectly. 🙂
