    Hallo,

    as a newbie, I’m looking for examples of bilingual wordpress blogs. I run two websites one in German and the other in English. The blog I want to start should be available in both languages. Is this possible? What about translation tools? Do you know any examples?

    PS. Theme of the blog will be the European Year for Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations 2012.

    I just found qtranslate to manage a multilingual blog. But the comments are not translated. Do you know examples of bilingual or translated comments?

    I think the best way to have all the content translated is to have 2 independ blogs. It could be very hard to manage but the multisite feature of wordpress to make a network of blogs is a good solution:
    – only one installation
    – only one install to maintain or update
    – One language per blog.
    – SEO easy.

    I’ve tried qtranslate and other plugins in the past. I have allways strange behaviour to manage to have all the web site perfectly translated.

    many thanks for the helpful information. I just had a look on your blog and I´m going to try it the way you recommend. Maybe I can start my projekt in three languages (now i have a >french website too) over the christmas holidays.
