    Hi,

    I’m having problems with huge sitemaps. I’m running now news website http://www.ceo.com.pl
    and I would like to use Yoast SEO for news & video. I started with standard plugin hoever it gives me error 500 while generating the sitemaps. At this moment I’m using VPS server.

    Values are set to:
    post_max_size=128M
    max_input_vars=2000
    max_execution_time=300

    At this moment in the database I have:
    22k articles
    13k tags

    Yearly sitemap of posts is about 5-6k
    Tags as above all in one 13k

    Is there any way that i can fix error 500 with some magic trick.
    Or maybe i cam split tag map for example by letter or split them in a smaller XML files?

    You can adjust the number of items per sitemap here:

    Admin > SEO > XML Sitemaps* > General

    * If you do not see XML Sitemaps, the advanced settings can be enabled by following the steps here.
