 * Please take a look at this:
 * [http://i45.tinypic.com/8yrqc6.jpg](http://i45.tinypic.com/8yrqc6.jpg)
 * and notice the big space between the bottom of the vid and the first line of
   text.
 * My code is here – I tried with and without the div command but it didn’t change
   things.

 * Any ideas on how to remove the gap would be appreciated.
 * Thanks,
 * jane

 * It possibly a CSS issue, in which case you’d need to post a site url. I’d get
   rid of the outdated `<center></center>` tags in the markup, though.

 * Thanks esmi, you’re always there when I need you.

 * <div align=”center”><img src=”file:///C|/Users/Public/Documents/websites/paintingsandlove/
   images/my-pic.jpg” width=”93″ height=”93″ /></div>
 * Similar to the above?

 * It’s primarily a markup problem. Your object parameters are way too big. I estimate
   that the video is only about 332px by 255px but in the markup it’s set to 446px
   by 326px.

 * Actually I had to go the opposite way, I think.
 * I tried reducing the sizes and it didn’t help.
 * Then I put the original ted.com embed code here on my site and now it looks fine.

 * Do you prefer the code here, or at Pastie?
 * I originally reduced the sizes because I thought the original size was too big.
 * What is interesting is that I believe that WordPress is automatically resizing
   the vid now.
 * Is it?

 * Any pastebin is preferable for larger chunks of code than here, thanks.
 * It does look like the video has been resized but, unfortunately, it’s not being
   displayed at all in Firefox 3.6.3 (it was accessible before), so I can’t check
   on if/how it’s being resized very easily.

 * Strange, (or perhaps not 😉 because I can see it in FF 3.6.3 // IE8 and Chrome.
 * Maybe my host is slow right now?

 * It might be some sort of Flash server problem. I use a Flashblock add-on in FF–
   which means I have to click the default “No Flash” box to see individual Flash
   presentations. It normally works just fine (and I’ve just re-tested it successfully
   on the Adobe site) and I was able to see the video a couple of hours ago but
   now I just get a great big empty space and a “Movie Not Loaded” on right-click.
 * Using IE8’s very inferior tools, I can’t see any evidence of the video being
   resized by the browser or via CSS. So whatever it was, it seems to have been
   fixed.
