• Hi,

Since I’m using AMP for WP my mobile device numbers decreased a lot. While I had 70% mobile devices before, I now have 5,49%. It seems that your code for Google Analytics doesn’t track the users in a right way, because Jetpack is showing normal data.

I linked my site and it would be great if you could look into this, I also tried to change a few things, but there are still so much more desktop users and they should be mobile users.
AdSense is btw still showing the normal numbers, but Analytics isn’t. So there are people on the AMP pages, but Analytics can’t track them.

What can I do against this? Help asap would be great, because this issue is causing me a lot of trouble and I don’t know what’s going wrong :/

    Best regards,
    Bastbra

We inspected your site and Google analytics is loading perfectly on your site https://prnt.sc/xl3kz9. Can you please check once whether having the same issue or not. Then do let us know.

Hi, thanks for your answer! I know that the script is there and should work, but something is still wrong. As I said, it’s impossible that the mobile devices decreased so much.

I now deactivated the user cache of mobile devices for WP Rocket and now it seems that the statistics starts to go back to more mobile devices. Is this maybe an issue?

I don’t know if this fixed it, because I did it an hour ago or so. But could that be a problem? Can you check that?

    Best regards,

    Something to add:

The amp version fails to load the analytics scripts, so that’s the proof actually that something is going wrong. Why is this happening?
