Privacy issue with live sales notifications containing full name

    Hi,

    I have a huge problem on a customers wordpress installation. There is Woocommerce set up and in the checkout, suddenly a notification appears showing the latest purchase with FULL NAME. The popup slides in from bottom left and contains the sold item, the place of the order and on the bottom right it says “by First & Lastname! This is a huge privacy no-go and I cannot find anywhere to deactivate or change this. I’ve tried to disable all plugins that could possibly include something like this, deleted the sites cache and searched all woocommerce settings but the notifications keep popping up… I checked the Html and the Notification has the div class “wcsales-sale-notification”. Anybody knows how I can fix this?

    update: notifications do also show on other pages, not just the checkout.

    Finally found the plugin causing this annoying issue. HTMega Addon – actually just an item extension for Elementor but for whatever reason they also included theses notifications…

    Glad to hear that you found the culprit – thanks for letting us know!

    You could also notify Elementor about it to see if there’s anything they can do about the notification. Here’s their support page – https://elementor.com/support/ .
