Big issue with WooThemes helper

Hi
When klicking on:

“Activate the WooThemes Updater plugin to get updates for your WooThemes plugins”.

We got fatal error message all over WP-admin.

I have to manually remove the woocommerce-updater plugin from the ftp, to be able to get rid of the fatal error message.

( At the same time a plugin “Woocommerce Cart Addons” started to malfunction. Perhaps related? We have tried to shut off ALL plugins, change theme, etc, nothing changes. And, yes, fatal error happens when activating woothemes-updater.
Woothemes pro-support is contacted concerning Cart Addons plugins (and if this could be related) but they sleep most of the time. )

Any recommondations?
