    Hi Raam Dev,

As an amateur I’m curious about the original question.
I’ll frame it a different way; does Comet Cache (Zen Cache) change any permissions that we should be aware of?

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike.

@nuthinthere The only place that Comet Cache sets file permissions is on the lock file it uses, when creating the lock file in the temp directory. See this line of code. The lock file itself contains no sensitive information and is only used to obtain an exclusive lock on the cache directory when writing/reading the cache.

Other than the lock file in the temp directory, Comet Cache uses whatever permissions the web server is configured to use (i.e., it doesn’t touch the permissions at all).

    Raam Dev,

Many thanks for clearing that up for me (and maybe others)!

    Best Regards,

    Mike.
