beware crude developer promotion

    This plugin works well but is blatantly self promoting. It installs a crude main menu item called “Pimwick Plugins” in which is the paid item and upsell link to others.

    For a paid plugin, that’s extremely crass and we’re unlikely to recommend to commercial clients on that basis.

    Thank you for the feedback! The “Pimwick Plugins” menu is how you access the plugin itself to configure your sales. We do include a submenu entry with information about our other plugins and felt this was non-intrusive compared to other plugins that include admin alerts, banners, etc.

    Based on your feedback we are going to look into making it possible to dismiss this submenu, we certainly did not mean to be offensive!

    Thanks for taking my comment seriously. Most developers put their set-up page in the Settings menu, which is the appropriate place.
