    I’ve used other non-free image optimizing services but none of them could get to the level of Smush Image Compression and Optimization. Others would charge you for every image in your media directory, this plugin does it without any cost. I would thank the makers of Smush Image Compression and Optimization for the great and wonderful service they are providing to the WordPress community.

    Still, there is one function I’m missing in this plugin; (Re-) optimize original images. Sure when you upload the images they are smushed but not when they are replaced by FTP for example.
