In WordPress, it is a challenge to create a modern page using WordPress Editor. that’s why the market of page builder plugins is increasing faster.

As a user, My expectation from Gutenberg are: Section (Add, Delete, Duplicate, Move, Setting). And we can add columns inside section and manage them like: 1, 1/2, 1/3 etc.

Block / Element (Add, Delete, Duplicate, Move, Setting). so we can add them inside columns.

That will be able to create rich content and fulfill requirements of all page builder plugins users.

But Gutenberg is Better than Nothing 🙂 and i hope, it will at least extendable to do all above operations.

Thanks for leaving a review. As you point out, Gutenberg is a starting point. It’s the start of having the functionality that needed a range of plugins to get to otherwise.

“It’s the start of having the functionality that needed a range of plugins to get to otherwise”

But isn’t that the point of plugins? To allow people who want this type of functionality to have it and those who don’t want it to not have it?

Gutenberg is fine by me, I’ve got no beef with it so far (still testing my plugins and such) – but it just seems odd to force it on those who don’t want it.

Anyway, it’s my hope that everyone’s concerns will be addressed in a way that makes everyone happy. FWIW I’ve always respected the work the WP team does.
