    Hi,

I have a custom theme I created myself. I currently have a search.php template file.

I downloaded the plugin, and copied the better-search-template.php into my theme folder.

I tried my search, and saw no difference.

I then, renamed my search.php to search.php.out. The only difference I saw was that WP used I think the index.php template to generate the search results. I saw no difference in my search results.

I then tried copying the relevant code from the better-search-template.php into my search.php file and renamed back to search.php.

I got function not defined errors (like “…clean_terms”, etc.). I believe the plugin’s code is not being loaded.

    What am I doing wrong?

I thought maybe if I put the heat map widget into a sidebar, that would force the plugin code to be loaded, but I do not want to do that. I may try it though, just to see what happens, but thought I’d ask here first.

    Thanks,
    Rich
