• I am wondering how I should go about letting visitors comment on my blog. I don’t want to REQUIRE registering for an account (and would rather stay away from it if possible), but I would like to be able to moderate certain users of the site vs. others. For example, there is one person who likes to comment on almost ALL my posts. Sometimes her comments are kind of rude or inappropriate. I would like to put her IP on moderation, while maybe allowing the others who behave better more freedom. I would also like to make sure that registered or not, whomever posts a comment has a valid email address. How can I add address verification to the comment post? Is there a plugin out there that will fit my needs? Thanks!

So I figured out how to put some people on moderation by putting their emails or IP’s into the box. That works for me. But now I’d like to make sure the email they’re using is “real” – like when you do something it sends you an email asking you to verify your email address by replying to a link sent via email. Is there anything that can do that for comments?
