Updating Betheme to version 25.1.2 broke the interoperability with WooCommerce Custom Product Addons (Free).

When clicking “add to cart” on a single product page e.g. here the page reloads, the cart sum doesn’t changed and the page shows notifications like “field xxx is required…”.

Are you looking into this or is Betheme out of your scope? Just as a matter of interest…

  • Hi,
I couldn’t find a a custom product addon fields in given product link.
Please add the fields into to the product and send the link to us.

Then only we can find the issues. Issue may be for some specific fields.
    We need to identify that.

    Thank You

Sorry, had to replace the fields with an instruction text in the meantime. It’s a live webshop, so I needed a quick fix 🙂

I’ve reenabled the custom fields for this product. Please have a look.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay in response.

It seems you are using ajax add to cart for the product detail page.
Please disable the ajax add to cart. And check the issue remains or not.

If it is fixed please contact the ajax add to cart provider (it may be theme or a plugin) and ask them to make compatible for additional fields submitted in ajax add to cart.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for investigating the problem.

So I’ll have to fix the problem or replace Product Addons Plugin with another custom props solution.
Waiting for the theme developer to integrate the Product Addons Plugin probably would take too long.

Finally I’ve found a solution. So for anybody who encounters the same problem with Betheme 25.x:

In the WordPress backend go to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Tab Products and disable “Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives”.

The reference to ‘archives’ was a little misleading for me.

    Hi,
Happy to hear that you have fixed the issue.
Please feel free to contact us if you have further queries.

    Thank You!
