Where did you see a mention of Modal Dialog supporting different dialogs on a page? It is a feature that I often get requests for, but I have not started any development to support this.

Oh, I might have misunderstood – it looks like this discussion references it:

    Did I read it wrong?

Ah, upon reading it further, I guess I did misunderstand how it works.

I’m looking for a cookie-based pop-up that would appear the first time a visitor comes to the site (which this does beautifully), but also to have a clickable link in the menus of all pages that allows me to show a modal dialog with Contact Form content.

And on another page, a pair of links that would bring up modal case study pages. (So on that page, technically, I’d have three links that trigger modal dialogs.)

Looks like the beta allows for different selections of content in one modal dialog, based on jQuery code passed to the dialog.

There were issues with the beta and I had to roll everything back to having a single dialog per page. I have not had time to re-visit trying to have multiple dialogs since.

That is sad, I needed the option to launch 2 modals in the same page 🙁 (a contact form with wp-cf7, and a faq section that the client wanted in a modal window). I tried the beta version but unfortunately the shorcode for wpcf7 wasn’t been rendered, just was displaying the shortcode text. I haven’t found other modal plugin as good as this excellent one, but can’t use more than one modal dialog on a single page 🙁
