Best/Cheapest Monthly Host

    I’ve been looking at WordPress hosts for days and can’t find a suitable one for starting up. I want to transfer my recently started WordPress site (averagecomputerman.wordpress.com) to another, similar domain. I have a few questions:
    1) What WordPress hosting site offers the cheapest month-to-month hosting?
    2) What WordPress hosting sites support having a domain name I already own, redirect to them?

    These are the officially recommended hosts – http://wordpress.org/hosting/ – but you should do your own research to find what will work best for you.

    Cheapest is not the best way to go – with hosting, you generally get what you pay for. Do make sure that a hosting company you are considering meets the minimum requirements for WP – http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

    Most all hosts support redirected domain names, but check with specific hosts.
