# WordPress maps API

 * Can anyone recommend a map API for WordPress? Free or paid is fine but i would
   prefer free.
 * I’m looking for the following:
 * -A map which is responsive for both desktop and mobile
    -Visitors can submit 
   locations with metadata to be reviewed by an admin -zoom and pan functionality-
   Doesn’t have to be google but would be preferred
 * Thanks!

 * It seems to me you’re not looking for a map API, but a WordPress map plugin 😀
 * The map API would be provided by the mapping service (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap,
   Bing Maps, GeoNames, Metropix, MapQuest, etc).
 * The WordPress map plugin would give you the features you’ve described above inside
   of WordPress… while using a map API key from one of these mapping services providers
   to display the actual map.
