I work for an org that’s planning on moving our quarterly conference site to wordpress.com (though we are willing to self-host) And we have a few concerns.
This year our sitemap would look something like this:
conference.com : with basic, static info about the series
and then a conference site for each year:
And next year when we do the conference again we will have
We want to use the same theme each time. Right now we are thinking of this one. However each conference would use different background colors, images etc.
Do we have to use different wordpress installs for each conference? And if we do, does that mean we have to pay to map the domain if we use wordpress.com. Would it be better to self host in this case? And how many times do we have to buy the theme?
Not sure I’m explaining this well. Please help.
