I have a personal travel blog and want to show my readers where I currently am. Ideally, I would also like to show them the way I’ve traveled.
The Google Latitude app on my Iphone seems like a pretty good solution for this. It constantly checks my current GPS location and updates it with my Google account.
I’ve tried out a few plugins (CurrentLocation, Comprehensive Google Map Plugin and Pronamic Google Maps) but none of them are really a fully satisfying.
First of all they all only allow to show my current location and can’t show my route.
Secondly, they also don’t allow to zoom and move around the map.
Maybe somebody can recommend a better solution?
