Best way to suggest improvements?

Thanks for the plugin!

I’m doing some modifications to the plugin on behalf of a client. Namely:
– Adding the ability to enable moderation on a per-forum basis
– Integrating the bbPress forum moderator role with BuddyPress group moderators

At the moment, these changes require changing the moderation-tools-for-bbpress source code. If you’re interested in including one or both of these features in the plugin itself, I’d be willing to send a patch or a pull request.

At a minimum, it would be possible to implement these features without touching the plugin code if you added apply_filters() calls in a few key places. This is a much smaller change, and I’d be delighted to send a patch or a pull request.

What’s the best way to suggest code improvements? I couldn’t find this project on GitHub.
