Hi all, I’m a new WordPress user, and this is my first post in these forums.

Before I ask my question, I just want to say how impressed I am by the software and the community support for it in plug-ins and themes. Thank you everyone for making this incredible tool.

I’ve installed WordPress on my site in the standard directory (ie. http://mysite.com/wordpress), and spent the past week developing and publishing content.

I want to make the WordPress post page (ie http://mysite.com/wordpress) the page everyone first sees when they visit my domain (ie http://mysite.com).

What’s the best way to do this…?

I’d like to avoid reinstalling WordPress in the root directory, if that’s possible, because I’m concerned I’ll have to redo all my content.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
