  • bbPress is still heavily in the works itself, according to the site. It’s not a plugin for WordPress, especially since it is still in its very early stages (it’s only in alpha software stage). That’s not a problem at all for creating it and using it, really, but I think it’d be a bad idea to try to integrate it with WordPress this early on, especially since both management systems will be going through frequent (sometimes drastic) changes as they get modified.

    You might try Vanilla for now. Since it’s further in development, or so it appears, so there are more known options for editing and styling it, I think. Though…I don’t think it should be integrated either.

    Why not just customize bbPress or Vanilla to match your site, rather than to try to insert/integrate it completely?

    @leliathomas, thanks for answering

    I do know how to match it with my site (have done phpbb) but I thought I might have overlooked something.

    Will look into Vanilla
