We are using template files to enable our users to edit and update events. I’d like to let our users delete events as well.

What’s the best way to enable user to delete their own events?

I’m thinking a “Cancel Event” action on the Edit Events Page. Is there an “Event Related Placeholder” for something like that in Events Manager?

    Thanks!

Thanks angelo_nwl. Under “Edit edit events page” I already had my “Add Event” page. This is working perfectly for editing / updating.

Are you suggesting that I add a “Cancel” command to the “Add Event” page?

yes you can do that as well eg. beside the Delete events link

angelo_nwl, maybe I am missing something. You mentioned the “Delete events link”. I don’t see that link or shortcode anywhere. The only way to delete an event right now is through the WordPress UX, which I am trying to avoid for our users. Can you provide more information on the delete events link?

you can see this under events-manager/templates/tables/events.php however make sure you enable delete_events role under events > settings > general > user capabilities
