Best way to do a delayed redirect?

  • We’re working on a ministry team support page, and we want people to be able to go to it, read a paragraph and then be taken to the ministy’s main donate page (which is on a different server). What is the best way to accomplish this with a WP page?

  • I’ve been thinking about this some more; if I just made a new page template, combining the header file and main index file into one, and then inserted a standard timed redirect code within the < head > tags, that seems like it would do the trick.

Is this probably the easiest solution? All of the redirect plugins I have found seem to be immediate redirects.
