Hi guys,

Just discovered your firewall. Looks awesome! What would be the best way to deploy this on an nginx server hosting multiple WordPress websites? Is there a server level option that will do the same filtering across all sites on the host?

Also will this be a good addition along side naxsi or is this a replacement?

Hi,

It has to be installed on each site. That’s very important because it has 3 levels: before WP loads, while WP loads and after WP has loaded (see this post for more details: https://blog.nintechnet.com/securing-wordpress-with-a-web-application-firewall-ninjafirewall/ ).
If you installed it at the server level, you’ll lose the last 2 levels. They are both very important too, because they can handle zero-day vulnerabilities for instances.
So NinjaFirewall is a good addition to Naxsi or Modsecurity (or to a cloud-based waf).
