Best Way to create songlist database?

Hello everyone. Newbie here! Hope everyone is having a great day!

I need to setup a songlist for a band site. I want them to be able to add a new song in the backend easily and assign each song to a genre category. I was looking at using something like “PODS” to get me started but I was wondering if there was anything else out there (plugin maybe?) that can get me there quicker. I already have a txt file of about 600 songs that I need to import also (I don’t want to add each one by one). I’m not even sure how to get started with something like this.

I would like the ability to sort by name, catagory, songtitle, etc. but I’ll settle for something basic right now. If you could just point me in the right direction or even what I should be reading up on, I’ll be on my way 🙂
