Transliterator is not a simple plug-and-play plugin. It performs deep content conversion and, depending on configuration, may also affect slugs and link structures. This behavior is clearly documented.
The plugin is intended for advanced users, as it includes many filters and configuration options that must be properly adjusted for each specific site.
Using it without understanding how it works may lead to unexpected results.
