# BEST theme: custom header

 * Not as simple as the rest of the themes:
 * Annoying because I can see the code I need to edit in view source – see screenshot.

 * But when looking at it in editor – it doesn’t look the same – see screenshot

 * When editing the header.php file I keep getting the white screen of death.
 * I am trying to insert a .gif
 * I’ve gotta be complicating things here somehow – can someone make it darn simple
   for me? Type slowly so I will understand you because I sure feel left behind 
   the rest of the class here!
 * ahhhh!!!!!!

 * Notaspoon, I might be able to help you. I too have chosen to use BEST Theme (
   in retrospect, probably not the best choice but I’m into deep to change themes
   now). The header kind of threw me off a bit but I got it looking that way I want.
   What exactly are you having an issue with? What are you wanting to do with the
   header?
