Best Structure for CMS

  • Hello,

I’m quite new to WP. I’m building a country guide site and I am confused what would be the best structure.

What I want to do is, I would like to post to different pages. Like I’ll have restaurants and hotels pages, and I would like to post to those pages separately.

Should I use categories and post to categories? Or is there a better way to do this?

    Thanks

  • Categories would work fine. You can set it up so that these categories are on your main nav.

You can then supplement by using tags for types of hotels or restaurants.

    thanks for the answer.

I also found a site doing exactly what I want:

    Link

do you think they are using categories? and how can I display the posts as a grid structure like they do?

    thanks

I took a look at their source and they are definitely using categories. To see how they did it, examine their html and css source.
