We continue to use All in One SEO Pack on all our WordPress sites and Clients sites, and we recommend it too all other clients.

While not 100% Perfect it is in our opinion the best SEO Plugin available.

    Hi Dave,

What features would you like to see us add to All in One SEO Pack? What would make it perfect or improve it for you?

    1. One slight annoyance is not having the changes in a new version on the WP pop up “new version” page.

I understand wanting to drive people to the Semper Fi page, but when updating lots of sites and/or plugins it can be a touch annoying having to click through.

    2. Greater control of Category page meta tags/titles would be a nice too.

    Hi Dave,

I understand the annoyance with the popups. Unfortunately you’re going to see more of this with plugins and themes because these popups are the new method in WordPress core that has been provided to plugin and theme authors to provide standardized notifications. We’re looking at better ways to use theme because we know that if all plugin and theme developers start using this tool then it will become very annoying for users.

Good news is we have a new release coming out very soon with full control of categories, tags and custom taxonomies. It’s in final beta testing right now.

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Thanks Steve,

Very much looking forward to the Category changes. That will be a great improvement for AIOSEOP.

One other thing I noticed recently, is the ‘live’ preview on an edit page updates as you write the new title etc, but it does not include the elements that have been set in the general settings for AIOSEOP.

eg: If the title setting for a “Page Title Format” includes %blog_title% in the general settings, it is not displayed in the ‘live’ preview.

Is this something that could be added?

    Hi Dave,

Yes, this is something we’ll change in the next release.
