• DWQA blows every other Q&A plugin out of the water. Limited customization without getting your hands a little dirty but it looks very clean out of the box. Integrates with MyCred to award points for questions and answers. Also able to integrate with BuddyPress. I’m really looking forward to future updates and features.

  • How many did you try? Because this far from blows others out of the water. (I have tried many.)

This plugin has lots of things that should have been sorted out long ago, like using the heading “1 Answers” (plural) when it obviously should be “1 Answer” (singular), and failing to redirect to a specific answer on a question page. It inserts its own version of TinyMCE, which forces users to use a tiny font when writing, instead of using the default WP version of TinyMCE, which is customizable. Even its time/date stamps for questions and answers are wrong.

Now the good news is that all these things are relatively easy to correct (which is why it is hard to believe, given the plugin’s age, that they have not already been sorted out) and I have submitted the solutions on support threads on this forum. If the developers act on them, you might then be right, but certainly not before.

If the developers don’t make these corrections — and swiftly, because they are easy to implement — that will say quite a bit about the level of support that the developers intend to provide.
