Hi, first I wanted to mention that I tried to visit https://ewww.io/contact-us/ as the stickied notification suggests but on that page the “Contact Us” link simply links to docs.ewww.io which times out for me.

As for the issue, I have one site that I need to completely remove EWWW from. Is there a best way to remove the plugin itself as well as all the many versions of images its generated across the site? I shudder at the thought of having to manually go through every folder in a blog that’s been around for years. 😛

    Thanks for your time.

Just delete it and empty the ewwwio_images table (you can do this prior to deleting the plugin on Tools->EWWW Image Optimizer).

Not quite sure what you mean by the “many versions of images”, but if you’re talking about thumbnails like image-150×150.jpg and image-600×600.jpg, those aren’t from EWWW IO. That’s core WP functionality that is on by default.

Great, many thanks for the response (and education re: the other images being core WP)! 🙂
