• I need to set up my WP website to display Canadian prices if the user is from Canada and US prices if from the US. I could use a WooCommerce currency plugin for this. However, my stock is also different for each country and I need to be able to show if something is in stock in one country and out of stock in the other. I could use a plugin like WPML – but I imagine keeping different stock would be an issue.

Future consideration: I may want to add a French option in Canada.

I have the website up and running for one country. Do I:
    1. Set up a multisite for the other country?
    2. Set up a new wordpress install as a subdomain?

What are the pros/cons of one over the other?

    Thanks,
    Lakshmi

    The website is http://www.zackntara.com

I’m not sure I completely understand your e-commerce situation, but you should understand that one of the important factors you should consider when thinking about multisite is that the main site and all the subsites are separate websites. They don’t natively/easily share content/data.

They do share plugins, themes & users.

I’m not sure that choosing multisite will gain you anything in terms of sharing stock/inventory info…

Actually unless someone’s been a hero, there isn’t even a plugin that cross-links inventory between sites 🙁

    I also need this function… 🙁
