# Best FTP Client?

 * Hi All,
 * Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are regarding FTP and the best client
   to use. A free version would be preferable but also I don’t want to compromise
   too much on quality and functionality.
 * Background: New WordPress user, keen to start using Child Themes. Don’t currently
   have an FTP client (that I know of?)
 * Would welcome any advice! 🙂

 * Thanks for that Media X. From the look of it I just set up the FTP user name 
   and password details through my cpanel, the FTP address to use would simply be‘
   ft’ and then the rest of the web address?
 * Sorry if I sound a little slow… : ) Appreciate the advice!
