• I have used this plugin for almost a decade. In the beginning it was very useful and no one else came close to the functionality.

Unfortunately now it is no longer a reliable plugin. In the last year almost all of my troubleshooting on performance and functionality for a large site we run always points to The Events Calendar as the problem. It can take weeks for support to acknowledge the issue, and then months to a year to get a bug fix, then the bug fix creates new issues you have to report back to them. If you’re a premium user you are basically paying to be a QA tester for them :/

Update October 2022: yeah, the update problems and bugs continue. Major known bug with object cache for several months, still no fixes in place. Last update crashed my server. If you can find an alternative to this plugin I would head in that direction.

I’ve used this plugin for many years. It is certainly the most feature rich calendar plugin available and the support is decent.

That said, I regularly encounter glitches, bugs and other issues upon updating the plugin. Bug fixes can take weeks or months after reporting to arrive. The level of QA/testing to catch obvious bugs is underwhelming. You’ve been warned 🙂
