 * Does anyone have a suggestion about what the best blog forums are? Are there 
   any here at WP?

 * If you’re looking for WordPress support you’re in the right place. If you’re 
   looking to network with marketers and such I’d checkout Facebook groups as there
   are plenty of groups there. Also, check out your local WordPress Meetups on Meetups.
   com. These are great resources to meet developers, bloggers, creatives etc. in
   your area!

 * Not really looking to connect with marketers just some tips for best practice.
   Nothing too deep. The landscape has changed drastically since I’ve come back –
   social has taken over and people just don’t check emails as much anymore.
 * Recently, anytime I send out a newsletter so many are unsubscribing – for example.

 * Yes the landscape is constantly changing so it’s good to keep in touch with the
   community. I’d for sure checkout the meetups if you’re trying to jump back into
   the swing of WordPress development and best practices.
 * Email can be tricky but I always look at it like this. When someone unsubscribes
   they’re doing me a favor. They were receiving any value and now my analytics 
   will look better because there is one less unengaged subscriber.
 * Just try to give give give and you should see a nice response from your email
   following. It’s just one of those things that will grow over time as you gain
   more trust from your subscribers you’ll shed less subscribers if you keep the
   value high.
