# Best Approach

 * Hello,
    I have a tech help blog that provides my users with little hacks and 
   tidbits to help them with a number of things… My question is I also want to blog
   some of my own ramblings. Like I will be taking a trip and would like to blog
   the trip. Updates with pictures/posts of my experience.
 * My thought would be to create a page and add posts to the page. I see that I 
   can create a page, but when I post unde rthat page I get direct links…
 * What I want to do is have a separate page for my personal blog. I would like 
   to have individual posts underneath that page.
 * What is the best approach to do this???

 * Why not simply publish your “rambling” posts in a separate category, and then
   [with the magic of plugins](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-category-excluder/)
   or [what’s built into WordPress](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/query_posts)
   hide that category from your main page’s posts list? That at least would be the
   _simplest_ approach, and fits with the way WordPress already works.
