Support » Everything else WordPress » Best and worst sidewalks: which templates?

  • I want to have a blog in which I will publish photos of good and bad examples of sidewalks. I am concerned with old people and persons with disabilities or plain difficulties to walk — an accessibility issue, generally speaking.

In it, people must be able to post photos taken with mobile phones or digital cameras, along with identifying details of the sidewalk, and comment and vote for the best and the worst ones.

The images should rotate, in order to be always fresh, and also go to a gallery with slideshow.

Can anyone indicate me the most suitable templates, please?

  • I’m trying to understand what requirements would be necessary for required themes. The only thing I can think of would be theme width and that should be editable.

Sounds like what you need would be a Content Management System or CMS more than a blog though if you’re going to have folks submit stuff.

Thanks, drmike! I have been using CMS’s but lately I see blogs much more flexible. I am new to WordPress but enjoying it very much. The good “problem” is the vast offer of templates. And that’s why I am here tapping on everybody’s memory to get to know a similar use as I need with the sidewalks site. Please keep suggesting, I appreciate it very much. Best regards, James.
