Number On Bell Icon NOT Increasing When Notifications Sent To Recipient Users

    Hi there! Everything is working flawlessly and doing what we want it to do except the little red dot with the number on the Bell icon doesn’t update/increase when a notification is sent from admin to a specific Recipient User. The notification displays in the drop down box when the Bell is clicked on though. Are we missing a setting? Why isn’t the number on the bell icon increasing when a notification is sent to a specific user? I tested it on mobile and desktop view and sent my own account some new notifications from the admin account to make sure it was indeed not working. Please help. Thanks!

    Can you send the website link?

    Is the count updating correctly when sending to everyone or when sending to a specific Recipient role?

    The website is a membership website so I’d have to give you admin login in order to see everything. But the count does update correctly when sending to EVERYONE.  It does NOT update correctly when sending to a specific Recipient USER. Not role.

    Could you send me a member’s login at wpnotificationbell@gmail.com ?

    Also, could you please test with the recipient role as well? I’m unable to replicate this issue so I’d just like to see if you have the same problem with that field.

    Sure, just sent that over to your gmail.

    All of our members are under the “Subscriber” role and it’s currently a live site. We can’t be sending out test notifications over and over to our members. I’ve sent you a Subscriber account to login to and test on if you need to. Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you so much.
