Being rejected by facebook
-
Hi, After installing your plugin and successfully syncing my products to the catalog on facebook, my account is still being rejected as facebook/commerce manager says that my products in my catalog are not being sold on my website. How is this possible when I am using your plugin to sync the exact data across?

Hi @shayno90
Thanks for reaching out!
my account is still being rejected as facebook/commerce manager says that my products in my catalog are not being sold on my website
To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?
If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or http://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.
Products sold on Facebook must comply with Facebook’s Commerce Policies. If you intend to advertise your products you must also comply with Facebook’s Advertising Policies.
Uploaded products go through a review process and your product may be removed if found to be in violation of Facebook’s policies. If you believe a product was incorrectly rejected, you can request a second review.
Facebook also collects feedback from people who make purchases on Facebook Products, including the Audience Network and this feedback is translated into a feedback score.
When a business receives poor feedback scores on topics such as delivery speed, product quality or customer service, ads that the business runs may see reduced delivery. If the business receives a significantly high proportion of negative feedback, it may experience a temporary or permanent loss of advertising and/or access to Facebook Commerce surfaces.
You can find more information on the Feedback Score here.
Meanwhile, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via
WooCommerce > Status
. SelectGet system report
and thenCopy for support
. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under
WooCommerce > Status > Logs
.Thanks!
Hi!
Sure, so here is a screenshot of the message I have in my commerce manager: https://snipboard.io/R9vNHC.jpg
I believe I am following all the terms and compliance requirements; I have an impressum, I am a lawfully registered business, I have have terms and condtions, cookie & privacy policies easily accessible on the site.
It’s a brand new shop, so no audience feedback can really be collected ( I assume) and my products are simple digital downloads. They aren’t anything offensive or age restricted.
Here is my woo system report as it won’t let me paste it.

Howdy @shayno90
Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further.
I am inspecting the site at hist.app and, from what I gather, the culprit is with what is available on https://hist.app/shop/.
Kindly note that, per section 22 of Facebook’s Commerce Policies:
Listings may not promote the buying or selling of downloadable digital content, digital subscriptions, and digital accounts.
Linked here is a screenshot showcasing that.
I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.
Oh this was for https://rootspresets.com
what’s strange is I’ve seen colleagues sell digital products on Facebook and Instagram. How are they able to do this?
thanks so much for your feedback!
Sorry this got lost in our backlog. Did you still need our help here?
I mean, I did ask a question in my last reply with no feedback. Any ideas how some people are able to achieve selling digital downloads on Instagram? I can confirm at least one person doing this.
Hi @shayno90
Facebook Commerce Policies state that Listings may not promote the buying or selling of devices that facilitate or encourage streaming digital content in an unauthorized manner or interfering with the functionality of electronic devices.
You can learn more about that allowed and not-allowed contents here: https://www.facebook.com/policies_center/commerce/digital_media_and_electronic_devices
I am not sure what kind of digital content that person is selling on Instagram, hence, I cannot verify it from here but you could check the link above for your reference.
Hope this helps!
