# Beginner Question about blogs

 * Im creating a cooking blog and am not sure if I should be making ‘site pages’
   or just ‘blog posts’ ?
 * Is having a site page for each blog post more beneficial for SEO or do blogs 
   automatically create it’s own site page? Sorry if dumb question I’m only new 
   to web design.

 * Pages are for “timeless” content. Posts are for the content of your blog. Pages
   are things like “about”, “contact”, etc.

 * In my opinion, if you will have lots of posts (like one or more posts everyday),
   then a ‘blog posts’ will be more appealing to your visitors. But if you have 
   fewer blog posts and you have more resources and recommendations to share as 
   pages, then ‘site pages’ is more suitable. Just my thoughts. Hope this helps.

 * Google won’t know if something is a Page or Post. Say if you visited a website
   built in Drupal, you, as a user wouldn’t know the type of thing in Drupal that
   created it. That’s way beyond the care of the search engine or user (same thing
   really).
